Services and Contractual Fee Arrangements
There are three basic contractual fee arrangements available:

- Upon signing of a fee agreement, a dedicated search consultant, will oversee your search efforts and identify an extensive selection of candidates. These individuals are identified through our custom designed proprietary database. This enables us to consider and cross-reference various criteria such as geographic preference, schooling, sub-specialty, birthplace and state licensure.
- An on-site visit is made by a sea-change consultant if your practice and sea-change mutually agree that it is necessary. This enables sea-change to gain insight into your needs and to better represent you and your practice to the candidate. The consultant will meet with members of your staff, and preferably attend a surgical case and tour the community.
- We conduct targeted mailings and phone calls marketing your practice opportunity.
- Qualified and interested candidates and spouses are then screened.
- Professional reference investigations and medical licensure verification, if applicable, are provided in a formal written Presentation of Credentials.
- Coordination of candidate and spouse travel plans and recommendations for visit itinerary are provided.
- Contract negotiations based on comparative nationwide data.
- Replacement assurance and periodic client/candidate follow-up are offered.
- Various fee schedules are available. An out-of-pocket expense fee is required on a monthly basis for the duration of the search.
- Upon signing of a fee agreement, sea-change will identify, screen and refer to you qualified and interested candidates who have expressed an interest in your practice and community.
- It is the client's responsibility to follow up with the candidate to determine eligibility for the position, arrange on-site visits and travel plans, and pursue contract negotiations.
- Targeted phone calls and mailings are offered at an additional expense. The expense monies cover:
- letter development
- computer supplies
- database maintenance
- postage
- envelopes
- letterhead
- mail processing
- telephone calls
- This service can be provided on a one-time-only or monthly basis.
